SMS Terms of Service

Program description

The CampusAid Atlas SMS Program is an optional text messaging program for the grants and college funding topics we cover. Subscribers to marketing messages receive a weekly SMS college funding resource digest featuring financial aid guides, scholarship research tips, tuition assistance information, and planning updates. Marketing SMS shares college financial assistance articles, funding resources, featured planning tools, and newly published website content. Account Notifications deliver requested checklists, subscription confirmations, and communication preference updates.

CampusAid Atlas is an independent informational resource. It does not provide grants or funding, process applications, determine eligibility, or represent any government agency, school, or program.

Message categories

• Account Notifications: Requested checklists, subscription confirmations, communication preference updates, opt-in and opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests.
• Marketing Messages: College financial assistance articles, funding resources, featured planning tools, and newly published website content.

Opt-in method

You opt in by checking one or both unchecked SMS consent boxes on our contact page and submitting the form with a valid mobile number. Providing a phone number alone is not consent.

Example first messages:

• CampusAid Atlas: Account notifications are on for requested checklists and preference updates. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
• CampusAid Atlas: You're subscribed to marketing messages with college funding resources. Up to 4 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Message frequency

• Account Notifications: message frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing Messages: generally up to 4 messages per month.

Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

STOP instructions

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages for that program unless you opt in again.

Eligibility

You must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number and at least 18 years old, or have guardian permission.

Mobile opt-in data policy

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.
